A plethora of endorsements has been coming Mark Cuban’s way. It appears that the fans of the Cubs, and sports in general, are not the only ones excited to have Cuban in the MLB. Most recently, ESPN’s Peter Gammons gave his stamp of approval.
It is going to be difficult for Selig to ignore this one, as Gammons has zero to gain from offering such a strong endorsement for Mark Cuban.
The Endorsements for Mark Cuban to be the next Chicago Cubs owner
Peter Gammons, ESPN - "Cuban Would Be A Great Fit to Join Cubs' Family."
David Stern, NBA Commissioner - "They should welcome him."
John Henry, Red Sox owner - “The commissioner’s office abhors owners who speak their minds and fight for the rights of their respective franchises, of no one better suited to reverse the fortunes of the Cubs for the long term.”
Bob Ryan, Boston Globe columnist, see his blog post.
Robert Dupuy, MLB President – NY Times: Bob DuPuy, the president of Major League Baseball, would not address the comment but praised Cuban’s Internet and technology expertise. "He’s been outspoken on issues, but we’ve had owners who are outspoken as well," he said. With his tongue lodged somewhere in his cheek, he said, "I’ve not heard of him referred to as a loudmouth."

Mark would be a great owner for the cubs. He grew up loving baseball and knows more trivia than any other owner. He could host the 1st BB owners 500K trivia contest for charity and WIN it!!!

Ha! I would love to see that. Perhaps instead of a vote for him as owner, they should have a contest!
