So, the plot thickens. I re-tested the searches I spoke about in my previous post. The search in question was the title, in quotes, of my review I posted to Yelp on 7/16 about the Kooza Cirque show in Chicago.
Two days later I did some test searches; one, for my blog post about the Kooza show, and the other about the Kooza Yelp review; something was fishy (see original conspiracy post).
Today (note that I contacted Yelp and Google), did the searches again, because Yelp contacted me. Miraculously, the rankings are as they should be. Well, what happened? See for yourself. Below are two links to the same search done two different days.
I’m sorry, but this is one fashion trend that needs to be extinguished by force.
How did this happen? Is it the George Costanza variable, do the opposite? I think I hate skinny jeans more than those overly baggy jeans where the waist drags on the ground. I just don’t get it. Is God mad?
Guys, stop it right now. I do not think my eyes can take another glimpse. Last night I saw some dude in overly-skinny jeans and the ugliest (almost as ugly as the ones the guy from ScottDBlog.com bought when he was in 7th grade) purple sneakers I have ever seen. Did he go shopping and say, “Hmmm…what can make me look ridiculous.” I’m all for using fashion to be unique, but dang; seriously? Is this an EMO thing?
Time to conserve Chicagoans, Chicago is hiking up prices everywhere, most notably in cabs...
As of yesterday, Governor Daley approved a $1 fuel surcharge in cab fares based upon the increase in fuel prices…time to start walking, or use public transport. You will also notice price hikes in the supermarket, and Pizano’s Pizza recently added $3 to their pizza costs…WOW, time to check out the frozen pizza isle.
Ways to Save If do not want to succumb to price hikes in Chicago, here are a few tips to saving on everyday expenditures.
Take public transportation: Chicago has great public transportation, see schedules here. Also look for the free Navy Pier trolley when gallivanting about.
Go to Trader Joes first: while Trader Joes does not have everything you need (especially produce), they do have a lot of options and at very good prices.
Bypass Whole Foods: you can save $$ by not going to Whole Foods, they are dramatically overpriced, hit Dominick’s or Jewel.
Just hanging with my bud, Drew at Wait Wait Don't Tell Me in Chicago. Moby happened to be the celebrity guest as well...who would have thunk? I have to thank my Mom, as it was her idea to go to the show...THANKS MOM!
I am contiually astounded by the media's uncoverings of governmental flaws. Most recently it was discovered that we have been paying somone (for services) on that is on the FBIs most wanted list. In other words, our government has been aiding and abetting a known fugitive.
So, what is the penalty of the crime? I feel I should command a citizens arrest against the US. That is my right is it not? And, people wonder why other countries laugh at our government...SEE LATEST FUMBLE
